Pregnancy, childbirth and the months following are a
magical time. A time filled with wonder, awe and amazement at the new
little person you are sharing with the world. It can also be filled
with fear, confusion and a sense of feeling overwhelmed at the task that
has been set before you (not to mention morning sickness, fatigue and a
body you don't recognize!).
Expectant and new parents are all
doing the best job they can with the resources they have. Here you will
find information, classes and workshops that are designed to give you
confidence and support as you embark upon this journey!
My name is Jennifer Carr, and I am the proud mother of 2 young children. After having an amazing birth experience with my daughter I decided to become a childbirth educator in the hopes of helping other women to feel empowered through positive birth experiences. I am working on becoming a certified childbirth doula as well and will begin offering those services in the spring/summer of 2011.
I also offer infant massage classes for new parents and Baby Sign classes for parents of infants and toddlers. Please explore this site to learn more about these services and other local resources. Feel free to contact me with any questions!
